Where's this amazing waterfall?

Where's this amazing waterfall?

Sunwapta Falls is one of several waterfalls in Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada, formed by hanging valleys. These valleys were created 8,000 years ago when glacier ice receded. Sunwapta Falls is actually a pair of waterfalls, a lower and upper one. The water comes from the Athabasca Glacier and there is more of it in the summer than the winter, due to seasonal glacial melting. Jasper National Park is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, with more than 4,000 square miles for camping, hiking, water sports and other activities. Wildlife in the park includes elk, grizzly bears, moose, bighorn sheep and caribou.

Bruce Peninsula National Park, Ontario, Canada

Bruce Peninsula National Park, Ontario, Canada

You can thank the Niagara Escarpment for the ruggedly handsome shoreline and the clear blue waters of Georgian Bay and its many coves. This bucolic scene is one of a seemingly endless array in Ontario’s 59-square-mile Bruce Peninsula National Park. Dolostone rock, hundreds of millions of years in the making, provides the jagged outlines for scenic coastal coves and cliffs. Just a short hike from here, one outcropping in particular draws sightseers like no other in the region: The Grotto. Erosion has created a sea cave, and the waters that fill it glow blue on sunny days. Don’t forget your camera!

Which coast we are looking at?

Thick ice clings to the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia, Canada

Nova Scotia is one of Canada's Atlantic provinces and almost completely surrounded by the ocean. With an area of just over 20,000 square miles, it is larger than countries such as Denmark, Netherlands and Switzerland, although roughly a third smaller than Scotland after which it is named (Nova Scotia briefly became a Scottish colony in the 1600s and means "New Scotland" in Latin). There is plenty of coastline here to explore, including the Bay of Fundy, which has the highest tidal range in the world.
